Unfortunately, most stray dogs go through very harrowing experiences leading up to their rescue. They’re scared, unfriendly, and mentally and physically damaged. It’s a sad fate that befalls innocent and lovable pups.

Sometimes, even during the rescue, a dog will still be in shock. Take this golden retriever, who had a tough time accepting that the people in this video were there to give her a better life. But once they got her on board, the result is amazing and adorable.
