Imagine a life spent in fear and uncertainty…not knowing what it’s like to be loved and cared for. That’s how stray dogs feel. They don’t have a place to call home, they have to find food for themselves, and they have to watch their backs. Sometimes they beg for food, but some people would just shoo or chase them away, and some cruel people would even hurt them.

So when stray dogs get rescued, most of them have no idea that their rescuers are trying to help them. After years of being maltreated and abused, who can blame them for not trusting people?

The dogs in the video below have just been rescued. Watch the video and see them feeling the warm touch of a loving hand for the very first time. Their reactions are just heart-wrenching.

Most of them cower in fear, like they are used to humans hurting them. But once they felt that those hands were not meant to hurt them, they calmed down.
