People everywhere of all ages are obsessed with Pokémon Go! The Thomas family went out in search of some elusive Pokémon character last Thursday evening – but ended up finding an injured dog! Elizabeth and her two sons found a bloody, beat up Beagle near the train tracks. The dog was missing part of his tail, his ear, and had been shot.

Elizabeth said the dog didn’t look like it was going to last much longer. The dog, named Ash, was one lucky dog because not only did he get found – but Elizabeth is a nurse! She wasn’t sure if he would survive, but she carefully bandaged him up and took him to the Harlan County Animal Shelter.
