Sophie Hewlett is a 24-year-old woman from Upton Worcester England who suffered from Anorexia Nervosa. She was able to cope with her eating disorder thanks to her miniature Dachshund puppy named Eeevee.

Sophie’s weight plummeted in 2013 because of all the stress she went through during her final exams at the university. It was at that time that she started skipping meals. She was at the brink of death weighing only four-and-a-half-stone.

But when she got her puppy Eevee, whom she had to feed regularly, Sophie realized that she also needs to have healthier eating habits. Eevee was diagnosed with severe dehydration and needed regular feeding. Sophie had to feed her every 20 minutes. And it was this ritual that saved Sophie from her eating disorder.
