We often see stories about dogs reuniting with their humans. This one, however, is a bit different. Jacob Fisher was stationed overseas serving his country, when a puppy was accidentally caught in a wild animal trap on base. Jacob freed the pup, named him Jax, and the two became the best of friends. Jax represented the feeling of home–something that so many soldiers crave. Watch what happens when Jax is finally brought to the states. This pup traveled a long way and looks exhausted but within a few moments, he realizes he’s with his forever family. I got the chills seeing this and could not stop smiling. What a beautiful story! This program, Operation Baghdad Pups by SPCA International, is really incredible!
