Ringo is a Special Needs Husky, and he needs a family to take special care of him. This is his family now
Ringo is a Husky dog that suffers from Megaesophagus. This is what Megaesophagus means: “Megaesophagus, also known as ME, is a condition in humans, cats, dogs and horses where peristalsis fails to occur properly and the esophagus is enlarged. Normally, when the animal’s esophagus is functioning properly, it acts as a muscle and pushes the food down the esophagus into the stomach.” Which means that this dog is looking for a family that will take the time to prepare his food in the blender, and use a special chair that will help the food get to the stomach properly.
Dr. Dee the Alaskan Vet does a show once a week, and each-week she tries to spread the news about the animals she wants to help, and what is needed for them. Well she announced in the show that she needed a family for Ringo, and they were very lucky to have a family looking forward to get Ringo. It is a small family of three; the parents and a little excited girl that is impatiently waiting to get the dog. Her mother says that the little girl is a really active child, and an active dog would just be the perfect friend for her.
As soon as the family goes to the shelter, Dr. Dee welcomes them, and shows them Ringo. The sweet dog gets really excited when he sees his future family. Looks like he knows that they are there for him. The Vet demonstrates how the dog should be feeder, and once they learn how to prepare the food, they are ready to take Ringo, and go home. I can tell that they will be taking really good care of Ringo because the mother of this family has been in contact with people with special needs before, and taking care of her Ringo will be not that hard. We wish them a really happy time. I hope you enjoy the video!
