A distressing call to action recently came our way involving a puppy that had been abandoned on a beach and left to fend for itself among fish bones. The puppy was located a mere 10 kilometers away from our base of operations, and without hesitation, we immediately set off to rescue the unfortunate creature.

Upon arrival, we found the puppy wandering the nearby area and rummaging through trash cans for any available food. It was clear that the puppy had been surviving on discarded fish remains from local fishermen and scraps of leftover human food. Witnessing the poor animal endure such deplorable conditions was heart-wrenching.

Recognizing the urgency of the situation, we knew immediate action was essential to preserving the puppy’s life. With careful steps, we approached the puppy and gently lifted it into our arms. The pup was evidently weak and malnourished, requiring immediate medical attention.

We transported the puppy to our shelter where it was given much-needed food, shelter, and medical care. We’re delighted to report that since its rescue, the puppy’s condition has significantly improved.
