Albuquerque police officers were responding to a report of a stolen vehicle when they saw a frantic woman standing over her dog. It turns out her puppy was choking on some cheese.

An officer attempted the doggy heimlich maneuver, and the 10-minute rescue footage was captured on a body camera. They were able to dislodge the cheese, and the puppy was checked over and expected to make a full recovery.

It’s a good thing these heroes were around when they were. It was the right place and the right time for this woman and her pup.
