No one ever said that the path to the American dream would be glorious every step of the way. If you want to make it to the top, you’re going to have to log countless hours doing incredibly mundane administrative tasks like filling out spreadsheets, calling customer service representatives, and repeating long account numbers over and over again. You’re also going to be spending a lot of time trying not to topple over with boredom at the copy machine.
