Having pets is a blessing. They are always there for you, they love you unconditionally and they are just adorable. Oftentimes, just like a human, dogs can have certain mental issues. Like separation anxiety.

The world isn’t perfect. Though everyone deserves love, care, and a sanctuary, not everyone gets these things. Some get these necessities, but even then it might still end someday. And no matter what we do, we can’t fix these problems altogether.

Coco was surrendered to Main Line Animal Rescue (MLAR) in 2019 after his family moved from Connecticut to Pennsylvania and no longer had any time for him. The shelter hoped they could find a new family sooner rather than later, as they hope for with all of their animals, but unfortunately that didn’t happen for Coco.

Last week, Maria Isabel Benites Chamba was laid to rest at age 95 in Ecuador. Chamba’s family and friends were in attendance to pay their respects at her funeral — but one attendee in particular insisted on doing even more.

Our heroin had the misfortune to be owned by a sadistic person how not only enjoyed torturing her but also buried her alive and left her to die. Athena is a French Mastiff (Dogue De Bordeaux). She was recently found buried alive by a good Samaritan who was walking his dog. He noticed something sticking out of the dirt. He realized that it was the dog’s head, and he knew he had to act immediately.

We are good pet owners not only because we feed them well, but because we exercise with them, take them to their regular check-ups, and most especially, give them a warm and nurturing home. These are things that this little pup missed out on.
