Brayden Morton was heartbroken when his beloved dog was stolen from his home in Cranbrook, B.C. Like many people do these days, he took to Facebook with a sliver of hope that the dog thief would be identified and he could be reunited with his pup named Darla.

Dogs, when they’re in pain, search for anyone that might help. For most of us, seeing a dog in need makes us want to spring into action and care.

I think that most of us would probably do anything we could to save a dog in need. When it is our own dog, it’s really a no-brainer and we will go out of our way to make sure they have everything needed for a happy life.

It is always sad to hear about abandoned animals. Many of them come from situations of abuse and neglect, and it definitely shows in their demeanor.

Animals are very sensitive creatures. They can feel and process a lot of the same negative emotions that we can, such as fear or sadness. Sadly, it is not uncommon for stray animals to be traumatized after their experiences of living on the streets since that is usually a very stressful and emotional time in their lives.

All dogs are pretty smart. But there are some dog breeds out there that are just known for having a high capacity for intelligence. Amongst those breeds happens to be the Australian Shepherd dogs.

I don’t think we need anyone to tell us that dogs are amazing. As a matter of fact, simply having a dog in your home for a matter of hours will prove to you that they are some of the greatest creatures ever to walk the face of the earth.

We sometimes hear about dogs that do amazing things but even the fact that a mother dog is willing to care for her puppies is amazing beyond belief. At times, we may even see this in action and that is what happened in Serbia.

Our pets are a part of our family and there isn’t anything that we wouldn’t do for them same as any human member of our household. That is precisely why one man ran several miles in order to reunite with the beloved family dog, Minnie.
