Noodle the Pug, Internet Sensation Known for “Bones or No Bones” Predictions, Passes Away
Even with the understanding that dogs age and the inevitable farewell looms, the loss of a pet never gets easier.
Noodle, a pug who gained millions of followers on TikTok and Instagram with his endearing persona and his “bones or no bones” daily forecasts, recently passed away. Noodle was adopted by Jonathan Graziano seven years ago, who decided to showcase the pug’s delightful character to the world.

Graziano announced the heartbreaking news of Noodle’s passing on Saturday. Noodle breathed his last at home, in his dad’s arms.
“This is incredibly sad, it’s incredibly difficult. It’s a day I always knew was coming but never thought would arrive,” a grief-stricken Graziano stated.
Noodle was 14 and a half when he passed away, which, as Graziano noted, “is about as long as you can hope for a dog.”
Noodle’s unique appeal came from his daily predictions that set the tone for his followers. Graziano would lift Noodle onto his bed every morning. If Noodle remained standing, it was a “bones” day, signifying a day to seize opportunities and indulge oneself. However, if Noodle flopped onto his side, it was a “no bones” day, suggesting a day to relax and take it easy.

In this sorrowful period, Graziano encourages Noodle’s followers to celebrate the joy Noodle brought into their lives. “Thank you for loving him,” he wrote.
Graziano recently shared Noodle’s rescue story on TikTok to inspire others to adopt senior dogs. “I don’t remember my life before him,” the devoted dog dad expressed. Graziano was drawn to a photograph of the “regal man of a pug,” which led him to adopt Noodle. Reflecting on the decision, he said, “it’s the best thing I’ve ever done,” and the rest, as they say, is history.
