Hugh Jackman Mourns The Loss Of Beloved Dog, Dali
No matter how many years we have with our dogs, it is never enough time. Their lives are way too short and losing them is one of the hardest things a person must endure.
Hugh Jackman and his family are mourning the loss of their beloved dog named Dali. Hugh shared on Instagram that Dali passed away over the weekend just shy of his 12th birthday.
“It’s a very sad day for our family,” he wrote.
Hugh had a special bond with the exuberant dog. Dali was often featured on his social media and would travel with him as well. On a trip to NYC, Dali seemed “unimpressed” with the snow as you can see in the video below. He is joined by his canine sibling Allegra.
Dali did as he pleased and Hugh shared, ‘When Dali joined our family, we had a trainer come to the apartment. He walked in and said “Oh you have a Frenchie .. I’m not going to waste my time or take your money.” We love Dali. Trained or not.’
Dali loved to howl, especially early in the morning, but his dad just laughed and shared the moment with his fans.
It is clear Hugh, his wife Deb, and Dali had a special bond and he will be greatly missed.
Hugh wrote a touching tribute to his canine friend and explained his nickname. “I always, always called him the ROCKSTAR. Because he was! He marched to the beat of his own drum, was beloved by the whole world, and boy did he have a good life. We will miss him but know he’s howling in heaven, ruling the roost and enjoying the all you can eat buffet. RIP Dali Rockstar Jackman. We love you!”
