Help needed for handsome shepherd – stressed and confused at animal control
Help is needed for a handsome German shepherd who is stressed and confused at a busy California animal control agency. Seven-year-old Forseti has been at the Carson Animal Services facility in Gardena since July 16. Though he has been there for weeks, nobody has offered to adopt or rescue him.
Information about this handsome shepherd
This mature boy is described as gentle and friendly. Given a shepherd’s intelligence and emotional connection to people, he is undoubtedly frightened and confused.
Information about his assessment provides insight to his demeanor:
This dog was neutral in the kennel, and was easy to leash and remove. He walked nicely on leash but did pull moderately. He was very interested in the dogs at the gate, he had a loose body wag and open pant, he entered the yard eagerly. He exchanged friendly greetings with the other dogs, then began to engage in very gentle play.
Helping this shepherd make it out alive
