Dog rescues aren’t always easy, but they’re always worth it. When a dog or puppy gets a new chance at life and makes a beautiful transformation, all the effort and heartbreak the rescuers went through pays off.

Rescuers with the Dog Rescue Shelter in Mladenovac, Serbia recently shared some good news about one of their rescue puppies.

The dog, Mini, went viral after she was found locked in a bird cage. She was exposed to the elements and had little space to run or play.

It was a terrible situation for a puppy to be in, but the Dog Rescue Shelter took the pup and freed her from the cage.

They tried to find the puppy’s owners to confront them about the dog in the birdcage, but they were nowhere to be found.

So, they made the call and removed the dog from the cage, and took her safety. After she received some love and veterinary care, Mini went on to find a loving home with a beautiful family!

She lives with kids who love her more than anything and a mom who is giving her the world. It’s so nice to know she’s safe, comfortable, and living her best life!

Her new family cuddles her, walks her, and gives her plenty of time to rest and play.
