Dogs are the ultimate barometer of human emotion – if you are happy, they are happy.  If you are sad, they are sad.  They hate to see us upset, and will do whatever they can to cheer us up.  Sometimes, they even bring potatoes…

“Today therapy was really hard. I was sitting here crying, and generally being miserable, when I felt a nudge at my knee. I looked down to see that Zeus, my service dog, was doing his job… and brought me a potato,” Drovie posted on tumblr.

“It is very hard to cry with the gift of a potato,” she said.

She didn’t know where the potato had come from.   But there were more to come…

Later on, she posted again

“Remember this?  I’m having a rough time right now. Zeus has a solution.”

“That would be an empty pill bottle, the *correct* pill bottle, a bottle of embossing powder, and two, TWO potatoes.”
