Bewildered senior dog, ‘why did my family leave me here?’

A bewildered senior dog, described as “perfect for any home,” is left to wonder why her family left her at a busy animal control agency in California. The 10-year-old dog, named Tacha, was left at the Baldwin Park animal control facility on May 4 – and though Tacha is described as perfect, she has not been rescued or adopted in the days that have passed.

On May 12, United Hope for Animals wrote the following information about sweet Tacha:

Tacha is a doll. She walks well on leash and has a nice, calm disposition, which is one of the bonuses of taking home an older dog – they’re already gotten the super active days out of their system. She is a total love bug, wants to be a lap dog and just be petted all day long.

Adding,

“She’s super mellow and a bit bewildered by the shelter – she just doesn’t understand why she is here and why her family abandoned her. She likes to lean on you and is good with other dogs.”

How you can help this bewildered senior dog

Tacha’s odds of finding a rescue agency or adopter increase greatly the more that her adoption information is shared. You can help this beautiful senior dog find a new home by taking a moment to network on Tacha’s behalf.
