Adorable Two-Year-Old Poodle Seeks Forever Home After Surrender
At Carson Animal Care in California, a charming two-year-old Poodle named Ace was surrendered by his owner on Monday. He’s slightly underweight, but the shelter is providing extra food to help him regain his strength.
He was so hungry he really enjoyed his food – you could see it all over his nose.

Ace has been an indoor family member and is housetrained, making him ready for adoption. However, he requires cherry eye surgery, a common term for prolapse of the third eyelid gland. Treatment involves surgically replacing the third eyelid, and the sooner the surgery is performed, the better his chances of minimizing permanent damage to the eye or eyelid gland. Surgery is usually successful in most cases.
