Adorable K9 Officer Puppy Fights Sleepiness During Swearing-In Ceremony
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado recently welcomed two new therapy dogs, K9 Otis and K9 Bear, to serve in local schools. In celebration of their new roles, the sheriff’s office arranged for official portraits of the dogs, complete with their own vests and badges.
It seems that the job can be tiring for the canines.
K9 Otis, a black Lab, appears to be the more energetic of the two new officers.
K9 Bear, a chocolate Lab, seems slightly more reserved in comparison.
The contrasting personalities of Otis and Bear were evident during their official swearing-in ceremony. As Otis eagerly offered his paw while being read the oath, Bear appeared drowsy and struggled to stay awake during the event. However, Bear eventually perked up and engaged in a playful puppy scuffle.
K9 Otis and K9 Bear are expected to have long and successful careers providing comfort and support to local school children with their unique temperaments.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office expressed their enthusiasm for the new additions, stating, “We hope you love them as much as we do!” The heartwarming duo is sure to win over the hearts of many.
