This is the story of Emerson. Emerson ran away from home. He was abused and neglected for years. It was clear that he wasn’t properly cared for; he lost most of his teeth, his fur was severely matted, and he had a nasty wound on his leg. He finally ended up in a shelter where they gave him a bath and took care of his medical problems. After three months, Emerson was no longer the scared and sickly dog that he once was.
