Ariel had severely matted fur, deformed paws and was even attacked by another dog just seconds before her rescue. The severely matted fur hid her boniness, and her paws had become deformed due to malnutrition. But her life was about to change forever as PETA swooped in to save the day.

When they spotted the pup on PETA’s website, they each sent us e-mails that melted our hearts. The son wrote, ‘I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to give this beautiful baby girl the life she’s always deserved.’”
