Fear is oftentimes entirely irrational. Sure, you* might “understand” that dinosaurs are “extinct,” but that doesn’t necessarily keep you from being afraid of a velociraptor hiding away in your closet. You might also “understand” that it’s “impossible” for a shark to appear in your backyard swimming pool…but you’re still not going to get into that pool alone. Nope! No way.

Mina the rescued pit bull is having some of these irrational feelings in response to a baby chick, and it’s too cute.

A spider I could understand…that’s a terrifying tiny thing. But a baby chick? Adorable! Get it together, girl!
