Dogs are forced to live in shelters on a consistent basis and while it may certainly beat life on the street, this is not to say that it is ever easy for them. Being cooped up inside for much of the day and spending a great deal of time around unfamiliar humans and animals can make for a very tough existence.

While living in a shelter is a major challenge for any dog, it is especially difficult for a dog that was born with a disability. The dog in this video is living proof of that. This dog is named Rosie and she was born with a unique disability, one that made it hard for the shelter’s volunteers to be able to get her attention.
