Great Dane from Nevada Expected to Take Record for World’s Tallest Dog
Yes, yes. All of us dog people know that great Danes can be some of the biggest dogs around. Well, meet Rocko. He’s a member of the Helms-Williams family, and they are now trying to get him certified as the world’s tallest dog in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Rocko is about two years old, and after the passing of Zeus, the former World’s Tallest Dog in the book, Rocko’s humans believe that he should now hold that title. Zeus took that record back in 2011 at 44 inches. Before that, Giant George held the record at 43 inches.
Rocko’s humans say that he is not just a really, really big dog, but he also defines the term “gentle giant.” According to his human mom Jessica Williams, he seems to be a “more connected” dog.
“He’ll cry at the TV if, like, an animal is being hurt on a documentary or something,” said Williams. “He gets really upset. He’s weird.”
Be sure to check out the video posted below, of an interview piece that was done by KGO-TV out of San Francisco, California. How about you readers? Do you have a really big dog? One that maybe thinks there are considerably smaller than they really are? Are they just a really big baby, afraid of the silliest things?
